This artwork is about two people’s relationship that is toxic but they couldn’t escape each other. I first made two human figures in clay and then wrapped the two in wires. The gestures of both are dramatic, to show their heightened emotional states and mania. One is trying to escape from the other, but both are constricted by the wires. The surrounding background, full of abstract shapes in bright cool colors, represent the modern society, which can be stimulating and confusing to the people.
